  1. Purchasing raw material
    • Purchasing raw material for manufacture is executed as following steps:
    • Appointing officers to fish ponds to inspect the condition, raising document and take samples.
    • Testing 5 antibiotic criteria (CAP, AOZ, MG/LMG, En/Cip, Trifluralin) and purchasing only batches of material without antibiotic.
  2. Producing:
    • Controlling technical parameter; checking product quality and material as well as sub-material in every step during the production from receiving material to loading goods; Conforming HACCP, IFS, BRC in controlling and checking.
    • Controlling quality of water used in the processing according to the standard 98/83EEC.
  3. Inspecting quality of cargoes:
    • Quality Inspection Department under the head of company pick up samples randomly from cargoes to inspect quality. Only cargoes that are qualified according to regulations are permitted to export.
  4. Inviting Nafiqad to inspect and issue quality certificates:
    • When cargos are finished, Quality Controlling Department invites the authorities concerned, Nafiqad, to come to pick up samples for quality inspection according to the regulations of the import market or request of the customer; then Nafiqad issues quality certificates for the cargo before export.
  5. Loading goods:
    • Quality Controllers (QC) in finished-product area inspect and monitor the loading process (i.e. hygiene condition, means of transportation, carton quality, strap, etc…)

1. Preparing pond

  • Drainage, collect mud at the bottom of the pond.
  • Pasteurizing the pond (powdered lime 1kg/10 m2 or chlorine with concentration 5ppm)
  • Exposing the bottom of the pond from 7 to 10 days.
  • Cleaning the bottom of the pond, clearing pasteurizing substances, alum.
  • Pumping water into the pond.
2. Breeding young fishes

Requirement of young fishes’ quality:

  • Clear origin.
  • Uniform, gaining required size (1.7 – 2.5cm)
  • No malformation, strong, no disease (having quarantine certificate).
  • No infection of prohibited antibiotics.

Transportation  and breeding young fishes:

  • The process of young fishes transportation must be supervised about the time (<4h), providing oxygen, density, hygiene condition.
  • The breeding fishes operation is gentle, avoiding scratching the fishes.
  • Using Iodin 5ppm or salting water 10 kg /100.000 young fishes to pasteurize the young fishes and antiseptic the injury.
  • Breeding fishes when it has no rain, degree of water from 28 to 320C.


3. The process of breeding (take care and treat)


  • Food size suits with the fish size.
  • Nutrition ingredient follows the requirement (having the standard table).
  • Having quality certificate and clear origin.
  • No musty or over the expiry date.
  • Feeding time and amount suit each development stages of fishes (2 times/ day).

Pond water:

  • No pollution and contamination.
  • Concentration O2 from 1 to 5 mg/liter, PH 6.5 – 7.5, NO2 = 1, NH3 = 1.
  • Water temperature from 28 to 32 0C.

Veterinary medicine, chemicals:

  • Having clear origin, still in the expiry date, label and packing is undamaged and clear.
  • Having in the allowance list.
  • Using veterinary medicines and chemicals is followed the instruction of veterinarian, control quality staff and stop using them 30 days before harvesting.

Pond sanitation:

  • Dead fishes have to be collected and treated immediately (2 times/ day).
  • Tidy up and sanitize around the pond everyday

4. Preparation of harvesting

  • Stop using medicines, chemicals, antibiotics 30 days before harvesting.
  • Taking the sample to check the left amount of chemicals, prohibited antibiotic (CAP, AOZ, MG/LMG, and En/Cpr).
  • Stop feeding fish 2 days before harvesting.

5. Harvesting and transportation

  • The result of checking left amount of chemical and prohibited antibiotics in fish (CAP, AOZ, MG/LMG, and En/Cpr) has not found.
  • No food in the fish maw. Minimize getting fish into a stage of panic, scratching fish.
  • The time of harvesting is not over 7 days.
  • Transporting fish into the specialized equipments, suitable density.
